Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

First version, written from the processing actually in place on this site. It must be reviewed and approved before being cited in a LinkedIn, Meta or Google lead-generation form. This English version is provided for information only; in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

JDE Agency takes the personal data entrusted to it seriously. This policy sets out what data we collect on this site, why, who has access to it, where it is accessed from — including outside the European Union — and how to exercise your rights.

1. Data controller

The controller of the data collected on this site is:

Company nameJDE Agency
Legal formEURL (single-member limited company)
Registered officeAin Nadjaa Sud Djenane Sfari Résidence Immar, Algiers, Algeria
Legal representativeDjamil MOSTEGHANEMI
Contact addressjdeagency.team@gmail.com

Although established in Algeria, JDE Agency applies Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) — and the UK GDPR for readers in the United Kingdom — to all data collected on this site. Article 3.2 says so expressly: where a company, wherever it is established, offers its services to people located in the European Union, the Regulation applies to it. That is our situation, and we comply with it.

JDE Agency has not appointed a data protection officer: neither the nature nor the volume of our processing makes that appointment mandatory under Article 37 of the GDPR. Any request about your data is handled directly by the legal representative, at the address above.

2. Data we collect

We only collect data you send us voluntarily by filling in one of the forms on this site. No data is bought, rented, or collected from third parties.

Data entered in the contact or enquiry form

  • First and last name
  • Company name
  • Job title
  • Business email address
  • Phone number
  • Service required — customer service, administrative support, or sales
  • Number of roles being considered
  • Preferred start date
  • The content of any message you choose to write

Only your name, email address and the service required are needed to handle your enquiry. The other fields help us prepare a relevant answer: you are free to leave them blank.

Technical data

For security and operational reasons, our technical providers log information such as your IP address, the date and time of your visit and the type of browser used. These logs are never used for commercial purposes.

We collect no special category data within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR: no racial or ethnic origin, no political, religious or trade-union views, no health data, no biometric data. The site addresses professionals and knowingly collects no data concerning minors.

3. Why we collect it

Your data is used solely to:

  • answer your enquiry and get back to you by email or phone;
  • qualify your requirement and, where relevant, put together a costed proposal;
  • follow up the commercial relationship until it concludes or is dropped;
  • measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, and only if you have consented — see section 8.

Enquiries coming from our landing pages are given an internal priority score, calculated from the information you entered and nothing else. Its only effect is the order in which our team calls you back: your data is not subject to any automated decision producing legal effects concerning you, nor to any advertising profiling.

Your data is never sold, rented, shared, or passed to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis

The processing of your data rests on your CONSENT, within the meaning of Article 6.1.a of the GDPR. That consent is given by a clear positive act: voluntarily submitting the form, this policy being reachable from the footer of every page of the site.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, without having to give a reason, and without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Simply write to jdeagency.team@gmail.com: your data is then erased as soon as practicable.

5. Who has access to your data

Your data is accessible only to the JDE Agency staff handling your enquiry, and only as far as they need it. It also passes through the following providers, acting as processors within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR:

Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC
What it does with your data — Receives and stores enquiries in a Google Sheets spreadsheet, fed by a Google Apps Script. Measures advertising conversions through Google Ads, subject to your consent.
Established in — United States and European Union
Formspree, Inc.
What it does with your data — Delivers an email alert to the JDE Agency inbox for each new enquiry.
Established in — United States
Vercel Inc.
What it does with your data — Hosts the site and logs requests for technical purposes.
Established in — United States
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.
What it does with your data — Measures the effectiveness of our campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, subject to your consent.
Established in — United States and Ireland
LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company
What it does with your data — Measures the effectiveness of our campaigns on LinkedIn, and passes on enquiries submitted through the platform’s lead-generation forms, subject to your consent.
Established in — United States and Ireland

As most of these providers are established in the United States, transfers to that country are made under the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR: the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where the provider has certified to it, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

This list is exhaustive as at the date shown at the top of this page. No other tool receives your data. If a new tool is brought into service, it will be added here before being used.

6. Transfer of your data to Algeria (outside the EU)

This deserves stating plainly, before anything else: the JDE Agency team is based in Algiers. Your data is therefore accessed and processed from Algeria, a country outside the European Union.

Your data is not hosted on servers located in Algeria. It resides with the providers listed in section 5, whose servers are in the United States and the European Union. Algeria is the place from which our team accesses it.

Algeria is not, to date, the subject of any adequacy decision by the European Commission under Article 45 of the GDPR — nor of any UK adequacy regulations. From a European standpoint, Algerian law therefore offers no presumed guarantee equivalent to that of the Regulation.

Access to your data from Algeria rests on your explicit consent, given on an informed basis when you submit the form, in accordance with Article 49.1.a of the GDPR.

As that same article requires, we inform you of the possible consequences of this access: it takes place in the absence of an adequacy decision and of appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Article 46 of the GDPR. Exercising your rights could, in practice, prove harder than against a company established in the Union, and Algerian authorities may hold powers of access to data that differ from those provided for by European law.

If you would rather your data were not processed on those terms, do not submit the form: write to us directly, and we will agree suitable arrangements with you.

What we commit to nonetheless

  • Every team member assigned to an account signs an enforceable confidentiality undertaking.
  • Access is limited to what is strictly necessary: an operator sees only the files of the assignment entrusted to them.
  • No data is copied onto staff members’ personal machines: it stays in the tools listed in section 5.
  • Any erasure request is carried through to all of those tools, without exception.

7. How long we keep it

  • Enquiry that did not lead to a commercial relationship: three years from our last exchange, in line with the CNIL’s guidance on prospecting.
  • Enquiry that led to a contract: the duration of the contractual relationship, then five years after it ends under commercial limitation periods — ten years for accounting records only.
  • Advertising consent: kept in your browser’s local storage until you change it, or clear your browser data.
  • Technical logs held by our providers: twelve months at most.

Once those periods expire, the data is deleted from the relevant spreadsheets and inboxes, or anonymised where it is kept for purely statistical purposes.

8. Cookies and advertising measurement

The pages of this site set no advertising cookie and use no analytics tool. This page runs no script at all.

Our advertising landing pages — /landing and /en/landing, where our campaigns point — may set Google Ads and Meta (Facebook, Instagram) cookies used to measure how those campaigns perform. They are only set after your explicit agreement, collected through a dedicated banner: until you accept, the advertising tags are not loaded and no tracker is written. If you decline, the page remains fully functional and the form submits normally.

You can change your choice at any time through the ‘Manage cookies’ link in the footer of those pages.

When you respond to one of our ads directly on Meta or LinkedIn, those platforms pass us the information you confirmed there. What they do with your data on their own side is governed by their own privacy policy, over which we have no control.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data:

Right of access
— obtain confirmation that your data is being processed, and receive a copy of it.
Right to rectification
— have inaccurate data corrected, or incomplete data completed.
Right to erasure
— have your data deleted, subject only to our legal retention obligations.
Right to object
— object at any time to your data being used for prospecting.
Right to restriction
— ask that processing be frozen while a challenge is examined.
Right to portability
— receive the data you provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format.
Withdrawal of consent
— go back on the agreement given, at any time, without having to justify it.

How to exercise them

Write to jdeagency.team@gmail.com, or send a letter to the registered office given in section 1. State what your request concerns. We may ask for proof of identity where there is reasonable doubt as to who is making the request.

We reply within one month of receiving the request. That period may be extended by two months for a complex request, in which case you will be told.

If, having contacted us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO, ico.org.uk) in the United Kingdom, with the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL, cnil.fr) in France, or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

10. Security and changes to this policy

We put in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted transmission across the whole site, authenticated access to our tools, and access limited to what is strictly necessary.

This policy may change, in particular if new tools are brought into service. Any substantive change is signalled by updating the date shown at the top of the page.
